Should I have downloaded the income document before answering the questions to enter??

I am providing information..to go on tax return...should I have downloaded  a blank return post my informantion first ??

There is no need to download any blank tax forms when using the TurboTax software for tax returns.

You only need to follow the interview instructions to complete and file your 2023 tax returns in 2024.  Once your tax returns have been e-filed and accepted by the IRS you should download a PDF copy of your tax returns for your records.

Income data from a W-2 received from an employer or income data from a financial institution reported on a Form 1099 can either be imported or enter manually after you have received the W-2 or Form 1099.
