Should I have a new filing status if I was the onky one to earn an income in 2016?

My wife, child, and I all still live in the same household.  However, my wife did not earn an income for any of 2016.  Does this change how I shoukd file, or how I should claim my daughter? We have filed jointly the last 7 years.

You continue to file as Married Filing Jointly even if one spouse has little or no income.  You receive the highest standard deduction of $12,600 and you each receive a personal exemption of $4,050.  Your child that you claim as a dependent also has a personal exemption of $4,050 which is reported on your tax return.
