Should I file my wife's taxes.

My wife and I are filing jointly. I made $23,000 last year, my wife made $4460.50 at one job and $2,769.63 at another job. Do I need to file her taxes?

Should I file my wife's taxes.

If you are filing Married Filing Jointly you will include all of your income and all of your wife's income on your return.

Should I file my wife's taxes.

Are there any minimum requirements that would exclude her?

No.  When you file a tax return as Married Filing Jointly, you include all income from both spouses.  Even if you filed Married Filing Separately she would be required to file a return based on the IRS filing requirements, which for Married Filing Separately is income above  $4,050 for an individual.

Awesome, thank you!
