I am very sorry for your loss.
When a spouse dies during the year, the IRS considers you married for the entire year and you can use the filing status "married filing jointly" when your tax return is prepared. TurboTax will put on the top of form 1040 for your spouse, "deceased" and your spouse's name and date of death.
So, make sure you are using the correct filing status-Your options for your tax filing status if your spouse dies will change depending on how long ago they passed away. For example, you can generally use married filing jointly in the year your spouse passes. Then in the next two years, you can file as a qualifying widow(er) if you meet certain requirements.

Tax Implications for Taxpayers Who Have Lost a Spouse | The ...
My wife died in Jan 2020 & I know I can file as Married Filing Jointly for 2020. I didn't receive the $600 stimulous pymt in 2020, but TurboTax calculates $1'200 as the due me. Is this the correct amt or shoudl it only be $600 for me? How do I change this?
If you did not receive the second round stimulus (600/each), then the calculations are correct. Taxpayers who died after 1 Jan 2020 are eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit on the 2020 tax returns. So sorry for your loss.
