You do not sign your spouse's name. You sign your own name with annotation "as surviving spouse".

Form 1040 should also show the decedent's name and date of death on the top of the first page.

You can file your 2017 tax return as Married Filing Jointly in the year of your spouse's passing.  When entering her information in the My Info section of the program you can indicate that she passed away during the year and the date of her passing.  The TurboTax program will indicate on your tax return that the spouse is deceased.

When electronically filing a joint tax return you will only need the 2016 AGI from your 2016 tax return and if you filed jointly with your spouse in 2016, the 2016 AGI will be the same for both of you.  The AGI is your electronic signature when e-filing.
