A 1099G has nothing to do with the Affordable Care Act. If you had health insurance through Affordable Care you would need a 1095A. You say that you had health insurance through your employer so you do not need a 1095A.
A 1099G could be for unemployment compensation, or a state or local tax refund, paid family leave, a government grant.....
Where is it asking you for a 1099G?
