Serious bug in TurboTax 2025 for Mac OS!!!!

I purchased and installed TurboTax 2025 Premier version on my computer running the latest Mac OS Tahoe 25.3.1. I also got the latest update (as of March 7, 2026)  from Intuit for TurboTax 2025 Premier.

While entering and changing my tax returns, there are lots of sections where existing items/entries cannot be edited or deleted. For example, I added an entry for an EV with partial information. After saving and reloading the .tax2025 file, that entry is no longer editable. The only option is to add a new entry. However, the existing entry is still there and cannot be removed or edited.

I see this in lots of other sections. For example, in the charities and donations section, I see an existing entry, and it has a label "NEEDS REVIEW". However, there is no other button or linked text that can trigger editing of the entry. The same is true in the 1099-SA Summary section. It lists names of HSA account holders, but it does not have a way to edit or update; only the "Add" button is available for creating a new entry.

This is a serious bug. Please fix them as soon as possible because time is ticking.

also running Premier on MAC OS 26 and for example I have no issue entering an EV, saving, and coming back to edit it.

Not to say there aren't bugs you are hitting (esp in the reworked charity donation section) but there are probably different issues here that may not be things Intuit can "fix" so you may need to workaround in Forms mode, try re-installing the s/w etc.

If you have screenshots where you are seeing things that you can't edit only add that may be helpful to see, you can attach using the camera button above the message box here (don't attach personal info).

You can see the screenshot I captured. Two entries for the same EV, one of them needs to be deleted, and the other needs to be updated, but I can't do any of that. I don't want to add yet another one.

Switch to Forms Mode:

1. In the top-left corner of your TurboTax window, click the Forms icon (it looks like a small piece of paper). 
2. Alternatively, go to the top menu bar and select View > Go to Forms. 
3. For EVs: Look for Form 8936 (Clean Vehicle Credit) or the Worksheet associated with it.
4. Select it and then select delete at the bottom of the form.
5. Confirm the deletion. This completely wipes that entry from the database, allowing you to start fresh in the Step-by-Step interview.
6. Return to the Interview.
7. Reenter the information.

so are you saying there’s not bugs or there’s bugs that can be fixed by going to the forms and editing in the forms? Why is it all over Reddit and other places including here on Turbotax discussions that there’s problems with Turbotax Premier. We have a particularly lot to enter, for example, five investment companies and over 20 charities, and besides that we’re itemizing this year. I don’t wanna have to redo it all with another tax program if TTax goes bad during our filing. Nor do I want to sit around reloading the program every time I hit another glitch, and how would reinstalling help anyway?  

can you tell me that there are no glitches and I can buy and use the program with confidence?

…so with my 20 to 25 charities, if I make a mistake on one, I can just clear the form and type them all in again! I don’t think so. 
Expert at Turbotax : are their bugs and Turbotax premiere this year?  Please be honest, the reputation of Intuit. It depends on it. Better you lose customers this year and regain them next year than two put us off forever.

For reference, one things got so bad I used H&R Block the next year.  This year I’m thinking of FreeTaxUSA, or TaxAct. Also, other than the one you mentioned I’ve used Turbotax consistently since 1995.  Please come clean

It appears there’s five comments on this important post, but they won’t open - at least not on an iPhone.  Is this yet another TurboTax bug?

I discovered a solution for editing and deleting. For an entry in the list slowly move the cursor to the right and you will see a small rectangular grey shadow box appear, click it to edit. If you move further to the right, there will be another box. This one is for deleting the entry. I attached a picture showing this.

Sad that TT does not fix this issue for Mac users. I'm using TT Premier with Mac Mini running 

the latest version of Sequoia, 15.7.4.

Thanks.  That works.  Similar  problem as everyone else using Mac (Tahoe 26.4) and I’m just editing 1099-MISC.  This is an unacceptable bug!
