I bought my health insurance through Marketplace and received a 1095. My husband and I are both self employed and I entered the 1095 info in Personal/Deductions/Medical. However, under: Business expenses - less common business situations - self employed health insurance there is an amount showing there, $1558, that I did not enter. The instructions are clear not to include any premiums for insurance purchased through Marketplace. When I switch to the form view there is no link to where this number was calculated. How can I edit/remove this amount?

The net premiums that you pay through the Marketplace are deductible as self-employed health insurance premiums.
Since the net premiums require a calculation that relies on information from your 1095-A plus other data in your tax return, TurboTax calculates that number for you. The instructions not to enter the premiums here are TurboTax instructions, not IRS instructions.
The number can change based information that may be entered elsewhere into TurboTax, so do not be alarmed if later you see a different number in this section!
I think there is an error here. It points the data source to the 1040 worksheet with the same line info but the value I get there is double the amount that the SE Health Insurance worksheet says to enter there.
Are you referring to Schedule 1, Line 16? If so, it sounds like the number could be entered in two places. Is it possible it got entered twice?
Intuit reviewed this item and determined it was doubled because I had linked my 1095 to my SE Business. I had to completely delete and reenter my 1095 WITHOUT linking it.
