Self employed. Where it says type of income... it says I can enter (example) cash check, barter. Do i have to enter every time some one payed me ?

No, you should add the payments together for each payment method. The program is asking for the annual amount of income you received in each form of payment. Therefore, you do not report payments received from each payor.

Yes, enter the lump sum total of each category of income.  

Be sure you have your own records showing how you determined the total amount for each category.
