Self-Employed: Entering Simple IRA Contribution in TurboTax Premium

I am self-employed. I am trying to figure out how to enter my $15,500 contribution to my Simple IRA in TurboTax Premium. On the page where it asks for Simple IRA contributions, it also says "Do not enter any contributions" "made by deferred compensation." I am confused. Isn't the $15,500 contribution by definition always made by deferred compensation? Is this not the correct place to enter by $15,500 contribution? Thank you!
