Second stimulus was sent to a closed account and you had me update my account. Will the third stimulus be sent to my updated account?

If you already filed your 2020 return, there’s nothing else you need to do to get your stimulus check. Your eligibility will likely be based on the information in your return, and your stimulus check will be sent to the bank account you used for your refund or mailed to your address on file.  See the Link below for more information about the third Stimulus Check:

Unfortunately because of the IRS delays I filed on the 13th and my status on the WMR page has not updated and only says "still processing". From my understanding if they haven't done anything with my 2020 taxes yet then they will go off of my 2019 for the third stimulus, that being said that 2019 account is closed but turbo tax did send me a email prompting me to update my account which I did and received my second stimulus a couple of days later. If they do go off if the 2019 taxes will it be sent to my updated account that I provided in January of this year?

Yes it will.  Thank you for the added information which made it clearer.  You should receive #3 exactly where you received the second check.

Awesome, thank you so much for the quick response. Hopefully the IRS can hurry with my refund now, it's only been 30 days 😑
