Schedule 7203

Hello I have filled out my form 7203. I have checked box "Formal Note" but I keep getting an error saying I must check this box. I have several time checked the box. I have used different browsers and cleared my cookies. 

Still when I look at a PDF of my return the box "Open Account" is check. I receive an error saying I must check the box "Formal Note" 

No one seems to be able to help me from support correcting this. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

It depends. You may need to delete the form and then type in the information again. If you are using Turbo Tax Software, you can try unchecking and then checking the box. 

To delete:

In Turbo Tax Online: 

• Tax tools
• Tools
• Delete a Form
• Look for Form 7203 under K-1 and delete it. 

In Turbo Tax Software 

• Go to the forms mode in your program
• Look for form 7203  
• Uncheck and then check the box
• If this doesn't work, delete the form and then re-enter.
