I didn't read all the conversation on this topic back from Oct 2025 and unfortunately bought the TT 2025, but later realized I can't upgrade to W11. Now I am stuck here paid $40/- for the software which I can't use it.
The question I have is, I tried to install the software on W10 machine which gives me a warning that I need W11 OS, but it also allow me to installed on W10 machine with a security warning & risk.
What is everyone's thought on this approach? should I move on to another tax software (and waste my $40/-) or continue to use it on my W10 machine? (I can't afford to buy a new W11 machine at this time)

I've not seen anyone in the US post here that the installer only warned about Win 10 but allowed the installation, if it did a lot of folks in the US would have done this. Are you in Canada? - they relaxed their policy on Win 10 (and in which case you are in the wrong forum this is for US).
if you decide to use something else, you can request a refund here
What version did you buy? Deluxe or ? Were you able to enter the code to activate it and it runs? Sounds like you must be in Canada.
sorry, wrong thread. Yes I am in Canada. No I didn't install it yet as I have not opened the software pkt I bought to reveal the code
Yes Canada still runs on Windows 10. So you’re good. This is the USA forum. Here is the Canada forum
Thanks for the refund link
@Manali ah but that link is probably just US - you should be able to find equivalent on the Canada site.
Will search for CA link. thanks for the heads up
Letting Canada use Windows 10 while locking out USA Windows 10 users smacks of collusion by MS and Intuit. If the software can be installed on windows 10 CA it darn well can be installed on windows 10 US.
Do better intuit.
