Robert received a W2 from Colorado for Insurance Interest on an Employer owned Life Ins Policy. On W2, Lines 12 a,b,&c are marked. Need to file Co State Return??

We live in another state.  Insurance policy is in another.  Do we need to file a State Return? We dont owe and do not get a refund

If you live in another state and the W-2 is reporting interest income, you do not have to file a CO tax return.

 

Interest and dividend income is taxable by your state of residence, not the state where the payer is located.

If you live in another state and the W-2 is reporting interest income, you do not have to file a CO tax return.

 

Interest and dividend income is taxable by your state of residence, not the state where the payer is located.
