My return was rejected for incorrect TIN numbers. I reentered them and was rejected again. Then I deleted all 1099--Rs, Reentered them all again and all were rejected again. Is there some kind of bug?

The Federal ID number?
or..the state ID number?

For the Federal Payer's ID number it has to be 2 digits, a hyphen, then 7 digits.
States vary on what they use.
Rejection was for federal TIN. All are exactly the same as last year's return and match the 1099R's I received this year.
That's weird. I wonder if there is some strange transmission problem.
Could try saving...shutting down and rebooting your computer.
If using Desktop...make sure you have the latest updates.
I know some folks have had problems with importing tax forms due to new browser protections.
Then recheck those Fed ID number settings again and run the error checks again.
If you are using Desktop software...make sure you are logged into your account in the top-left file menu. dropdown (yeah..it's Desktop, but that might have an effect for some reason)
Then, there's Customer Support:
Found the problem. In the end it was user error (mine). Error corrected and return was accepted
