Restricted stock sale issue. The amount TT calculated for what should have been included in my W2 income is wrong (double what it should be). How do I fix this?

One way - the easiest way in fact - is to delete the RSU sales you've entered using the RSU step by step interview which, by and large is completely unnecessary, then simply enter the sales using the default 1099-B entry form and fixing the erroneous basis by clicking the blue "I'll enter additional info on my own" button and on the next page entering the correct basis in the "Corrected cost basis" box.

The common reason for doubling up income is you tell TurboTax twice about the same vesting.  So if you had a vesting of 21 shares, 9 of which were sold "for taxes" and 12 of which were sold "for cash" and you enter both those sales using the RSU step by step process and tell TurboTax 21 shares vested with both the trades, TurboTax thinks 42 shares have vested, doubling the compensation income.
