Reminder: Your W-2 needs attention

I got an email with header " Reminder: Your W-2 needs attention" and then requesting I import my W2, is this legitimate? why DID the turbo tax program that i initially use not request this information back then?

This is just a marketing email and you can disregard it. You are not required to provide any additional information.
