I efiled my 2019 taxes and it was rejected. This year's return and last year's return were filed as married filing jointly. The rejection says they are unable to verify my husband's agi . It asks me to imput his agi and then my agi (which should be the same because we filed jointly). I have checked the the agi it shows is correct and matches my 2018 taxes. I have tried 3 times and worry about getting locked out. It is now too late to print and mail my returns (I would rather e-file anyway). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is possible that the IRS made a correction on your 2018 return (after you filed it) that ended up tweaking the AGI. Either that, or they have your AGI incorrectly listed in their system. You can order a free transcript of your return at the IRS Get Transcript page to double-check.
I have tried to access a transcript of my taxes from the IRS to verify my agi, but I don't have the correct financial information to do that. Do I have to file an extension if I efiled on time but it was rejected?
