Received a Covid-19 stimulus check for deceased.
My mother received a Covid-19 stimulus check for my deceased father who passed away in May of 2019 that was auto deposited. The money needs to be returned how is that addressed with TurboTax? What is the process?
Update 2/28/2020: I went through the Turbo Tax questions related to the stimulus check. The Turbo Tax questions assume how much she should have gotten for 1st and 2nd check and has it prefilled in. Turbo Tax gives you the option to say this is not correct amount and change the amount which I did. My mom got $2400 for the 1st check and $600 for second. Turbo Tax said it ran the calculation and based on her Gross Income she got all the money entitled to her. Is that correct? She does not have to return the other $1200 dollar stimulus check she got for my father that passed away in 2019?
