Received 1099-misc for 409a deferred compensation Money was fica and medicare taxed at time of earned. 1099 has money in box 15B only and turbo tax won't allow

I have called help line and received 5 different answers.  most want 1099 to have money amount in 15B and box 7 - but that wants to tax the amount with fica and medicare again.  We have already paid fica and medicare.  No longer an employee of company, so can not received a W-2

The amount in box 15b would also be in box 7, not 15a.

The company is not required to report 15a at all per the 1099-MISC instructions.

"Box 15a. Section 409A Deferrals
You do not have to complete this box. For details, see Notice 2008-115, available at IRS.gov/irb/2008-52_IRB/ar10.html.
If you complete this box, enter the total amount deferred during the year of at least $600 for the nonemployee under all nonqualified plans. The deferrals during the year include earnings on the current year and prior year deferrals. For additional information, see Regulations sections 1.409A-1 through 1.409A-6.
For deferrals and earnings under NQDC plans for employees, see the Instructions for Forms W-2 and W-3."

Box 15 is not supported by TurboTax.

1. Form 1099-Misc and Non-qualified Deferred Compensation: If your Form 1099-Misc has an
amount in box 15b for nonqualified deferred compensation plans under code section 409A, see
IRS Publication 15-A for the calculation of the additional tax that must be reported on Form 1040.
