Why does 1040 LINE 10b $300 message has this is unacceptable value

I have over $500 in deductions and CARES act says I can deduct 300 even though I am not itemizing... but keep getting error message

To correct this, only enter $300. The CARES Act does allow a deduction of $300 for qualifying cash contributions even when taking the standard deduction.
