Where can I find a receipt for late payment fees?

I had to pay a penalty for late tax payments throughout the tax year, my employers mistake to get this right. Is there a receipt for this somewhere?

The IRS does not acknowledge payments. 

The underpayment penalty is not a separate payment - it just adds to the overall tax you must pay for the year or subtract from your refund.   You will find that on  your 1040 form line 38.

And the penalty on line 38 is just an estimate.  The IRS may send you a bill for more or even a refund.
