Although such a bill was proposed in WV back in March, I am unaware that it has actually been passed and signed into law. If you have a citation, please post it here.
In general, though, once a state legislature enacts something like this, it must develop and issue procedures. Then TT must program and test those procedures, and then get the state to approve them.
Governor Jim Justice sign the bill on Tuesday April 13, 2021. Here is a link to the tax dept page of WV

Gov Justice signed the bill on Tuesday.
When Will TurboTax update this now that it has been signed and is tax law?
@SweetieJean update?
I am not a TT employee, so I don't know. Sorry!
Any update here?This link https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/internal-revenue-service/help/how-is-my-state-taxing-unemployment-...
says WV is still not updated? Will this be updated before Monday?
TurboTax calculations have not been updated for West Virginia. If you haven’t filed your return, you can either:
You can file an extension through TurboTax.
The deadline to file WV 2020 annual income tax returns for individuals has been extended from April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021. Payment deadlines for these returns are also extended until May 17, 2021. Failure to pay any balance of tax due by May 17, 2021 will result in the accrual of penalties and interest beginning May 18, 2021.
This relief does not extend to estimated tax payments for tax year 2021 that are due between April 15, 2020 and May 17, 2021 for individuals.
This relief does not apply to employer withholding tax returns and payments or to any other tax collected by the Tax Commissioner.
The Department will automatically provide this relief, so filers do not need to take any additional steps to qualify for this extension of time.
Thanks, @DawnC
So, does TurboTax have plans to update for WV unemployment so we can amend our taxes with Turbotax? Or will this have to be done through the mail?
Yes and you will be able to e-file the amendment so there will be no need to mail it. @tdander26
