When will I receive my unemployment tax break. I already overpaid in 2020 and TurboTax is not showing it.

Has anyone received their unemployment tax break?

TurboTax does not know when the IRS will issue that refund.   Only the IRS is in control of that; they just began to send the refunds out and will continue during the next several months.

Some have said they have seen a change in their Turbo tax filing. Mine has not changed.

The TT file is NOT changed by the IRS since the tail cannot wag the dog.

If you want to see the change you need to open your return using the amendment process then revisit the unemployment section so it can recalculate the return.
