Form 8606 is not yet approved for e-file. Form 1040 has been available for weeks.

Thank you! Why turbotax (premier) is stopping me from filing with unavailability of these two forms(if 1040 available for weeks)? I can send you screenshot, if needed.
Form 8606 will not be ready for e-file until 02/12/2020. If your return requires that Form 8606 be attached, then you cannot e-file the entire return until 02/12/2020.
You can monitor the availability of forms here:
It is currently 2/12/2020. I cannot file because the 8606-T form is still not ready. Under "Available to File" it shows "Ready soon". Ready when? When is soon? I'm in the EST time zone and it's 11am.. I'd like more information, like an ETA or timestamp. "Ready soon" is vague and frustrating..
I agree. This is becoming ridiculous!!! It is the 12th, it is 8 am in California, how long do we have to wait????
Yes, I'm having the same issue. It's 2/12 and still I'm unable to file because it says the form isn't available.
frustrating... last week it was 2/5. When i went to efile on 2/5, it said it'll be ready on 2/12...i am afraid it will push for another week now, if it follows same pattern.
Can we get an update on when Form 8606-T will be ready to e-file?
Will it be ready later today?
When will the Form 8606-T be available so we can efile?
The link you give does not list Forms 8606-T or 8606-S at all. So how are we supposed to check status with this invalid information?
Thank you. It is now 16:15 EST, 12 Feb 2020 and Forms 8606-T and 8606-S are not yet available. I cannot e-file my tax returns as a result. Not a good way to treat your customers.
