Hi, not sure if this is the right answer but, if by “fees” do you mean to Turbo Tax to e-file?  Bc I believe you may be able to print out for free your taxes (I could be wrong on this tho) & send it off.

If you mean that you owe the gov’t $, I believe you will incur interest charges & can pay later.  Hope this helps.  GL.

There are several situations where you won't be able to use the Pay With My Refund service, including:

  • You're filing a paper return
  • You don't have a federal refund
  • Your federal refund isn't enough to cover the fees (besides the Recovery Rebate Credit on Line 30)
  • You're filing with a foreign address
  • Form 8888 is in your return
  • You already used the service when you initially e-filed your federal return
  • You already filed your federal return and are now only filing your state return
