Is this still an issue of 3/5/2020? My import was "successful" as in no error. But turbo tax just created a bunch of empty blank place holders with no import information.

Yes -
It hasn't worked all tax season. Hours on the Phone with Turbotax Support - the agent was knowledgeable but failed to resolve the issue. I repeatedly get the message "the import was unsuccesful". There's no way to resolve the issue so I am forced to enter data manually into turbotax
I am attaching this post from other users for your reference: Import
To enter the information manually, For example, if its a Form 1099-DIV, here are the steps:
Use the same instructions for 1099int or 1099b
When trying to import from Wells Fargo please SEARCH for the bank name in the search bar. Banks can have many portals. For Wells Fargo there are 3 possible portals (Wells Fargo, Wells Fargo Advisor, etc) It is my experience that most individuals who have consolidated tax summaries, 1099-div, 1099-int, 1099-b need to import from the Wells Fargo Advisor portal. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the suggestion, but I tried it and it also didn't work. Of the 3 Wells Fargo choices, the ONLY one that will progress to a screen asking for the advanced access code is the Wells Fargo Bank Portal. I've tried it 37 (!) times and gotten failure each time. Direct assistance from TurboTax also failed to remedy the situation. I had given up, but tried your suggestion - but unfortunately there's still no 1099 import capability from Wells Fargo. It had worked for many years prior to this year, but not this year.
Had the same problem last year and finally figured it out. The icon for Wells Fargo on the import screen is not for Wells Fargo Advisors. To get to Wells Fargo Advisor account tax import type in Wells Fargo in the input field and 3 options will be presented. The correct one for me was Wells Fargo Advisors. Your's may be one of the other two.
This is for the Intuit support people who believe there's no problem in the Turbo Tax software. I've tried several times to import my Wells Fargo tax documents and tried all 3 Wells Fargo import options, Wells Fargo Advisors, Wells Fargo Asset Management and Wells Fargo Bank and none of them work for me. When I try Wells Fargo Bank (which is definitely the correct one for my accounts), here's the error message I get.
As someone who works in I.T., I find it amusing that the error message is referencing the system date (i.e. the current date). This is clearly a bug.
