We are filling in information regarding a K-1 we received. We select 'the income comes from the partnership that generated this K-1 and the next screen 'We need some information about your 199A income' lists the wrong entity name ? How do we change the entity name on this screen ?

Exactly what name did you enter for the partnership?

In one of the very first screens you enter the name of the partnership, and that is where TurboTax pulls the name for the screen you are seeing in the program.

The wrong name comes from having previously entered information about another entity for box 20 code Z, as you asked about in your earlier question. It would be helpful if you would keep all your related questions in one thread, so that all the relevant information is in one place.

The simplest solution at this point is to delete the K-1 completely and enter it again. Go to forms mode, select the K-1 in the list of forms, and click the Delete Form button at the bottom. That will also delete the information about the other entity. Then go back to the Step-by-Step mode and enter the K-1 again.

Got it.  

Sounds like this might be a bug and  I will loose last years information :( 

I concede and will delete the line item.
