Turbo tax deluxe 2020

I have the new IPad Pro 4th generation 2020. Can I buy a TurboTax download for 2020 deluxe plus state?  Please advise

Desktop software does not work on mobile devices.  You will need either a full PC or Mac.  The 2020 software has not yet been released

There is an app for iOS, but it is not the standalone software package. It is a gateway or alternative way of accessing the TurboTax online Web server. Once you set up an account, you can work on your tax return from any web browser or connected app. However, it does not have the same features as the standalone program that can only be installed on a PC or Mac.

In addition the phone app allowed access tom the online editions but did not contain all the online features available to computer users (for 2019).  Don't know about 2020 since it has not been released yet.

They were yesterday ... however it is ONLY a beta version and will not be fully operational until sometime in January and some parts not until February or later.

Only to a very limited extent because the IRS is still working on many form changes for 2020 and has not made that available as of yet so expect many software updates as forms are released.  (Even the basic 1040 tax return is still in the draft state at the IRS and will have many changes.)
