What's your hurry? The IRS will not be accepting returns until January 27 so filing now will not result in an early refund. Click Review to see when that form is supposed to be ready.

Ok eager beaver ... that form should be ready 1/16 and the feds are not processing returns until 1/27 so you can and SHOULD wait to file the CA & FED together... there is no good reason to jump the gun. https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_ca_online_individual.html
