That is the Standard Deduction for Joint and both spouses are 0ver 65.

24,400+1,300+1,300 = 27,000

You enter a birth date - hopefully the correct one - that indicates you are 65 or older.  That's in the "Personal" section of the interview.  It's not a "credit", it's a "deduction".

  • Single - $12,000 add $1,600 if age 65 or older
  • Married Filing Separately - $12,000 add $1,300 if age 65 or older
  • Married Filing Jointly - $24,000 add $1,300 for each spouse age 65 or older
  • Head of Household - $18,000 add $1,600 if age 65 or older

For 2019 the standard deduction amounts are:

Single 12,200 + 1,650 for 65 and over or blind

HOH 18,350 + 1,650 for 65 and over or blind

Joint 24,400+ 1,300 for each 65 and over or blind

Married filing Separate 12,200 + 1,300 for 65 and over or blind

What's not showing up?  The Standard Deduction or the extra amount for 65 and older?  Check your date of birth under My Info.  It goes by your age on Dec 31.
