So of my fiancé claimed our children on his taxes, do I still add them onto mine but just not claim them? Or should I not have them on my taxes at all?

*If
Because when I add their socials(but I click that I am not claiming them) my refund does go up. So I just want to make sure its okay that they're on there. Or should I not have them on at all since I'm not claiming them..I dont want to do anything wrong. Please help!

If all of you live together as a family then only one parent claims the children--the other parent should not enter anything at all about the  children on a tax return.   They can only be claimed on one return.   If your BF is their father then it is ok that he claimed them---but you cannot claim them too.   You cannot each get the child-related credits--only one of you can get the credits and/or stimulus checks for claiming your children.
