That is correct.  Each tax year is a separate TurboTax program - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

you might even be able to fill out the forms manually if you just have a W-2 to file. get forms at www.irs.gov.

E-FIle is not available for prior years.
