SELECTING ASSET CLASS IN SCHEDULE E

WHEN COMPLETING AN ASSET DEPRECIATION FORM, IT IS WITH DIFFICULTY TO  SELECT THE ASSET CLASS FROM THE DROP DOWN MENU. IT TAKES 4-5 TIMES BEFORE THE CLASS ASSET APPEARS IN THE PROPER BOX.  CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS???

Which version (online or desktop) of TurboTax are you using and in which module (business or rental)?

 

I have been unable to reproduce the behavior you are describing in the TurboTax Business and Home & Business (both desktop - installed - versions).

I am using the download version on my IMAC...i have two major problems: one, while entering data in Turbotax it unexpectedly closes and I have to reopen it from the beginning. the other one has to do with entering data in the asset depreciation form in rental section. it is difficult to get the asset class to appear in the proper box. I have to click on the item in the drop down menu quite a few times before  it registers in the proper box and i can continue finishing that form.
