Schedule E attachment

Why do you need to attach any statement? In my 13 years of filing SCH E for my business and claiming vehicle loan interest on line 13 for 5 years, I've never had to attach any statements.

You don't.  Only if the IRS ever questions the Schedule E income would you need to explain.
