I mistakenly overpaid a large amount to the IRS on my 2024 estimated taxes. Is there a way I can get that money refunded now or do I have to wait until I file my taxes at the end of the year.

You have to wait to file your 2024 tax return next year to report the estimated taxes you paid this year.
Maybe you can change any W2 or 1099 income to a lower amount or zero so you don’t have too much taken out the rest of the year. Give your employer a new W4.
