No memory

  I shall buy the 2019 edition, but with apprehension. My copy last year was defective  - I could not save anything. It all went well, but I  ended up having to stay at it non-stop all the way thru to printing. And I have no copy on my computer. Most annoying.

No memory

There is no reason that you could not save unless you have a a computer problem or were trying to save to a location that your user did not have permission to save to.  There are (or were) no known problems saving files on a Mac.

 

Are you sure that you actually installed the program in the Applications Folder and ejected the CD.   You cannot update or save if the CD is in the CD drive.

 

What type of error message was there.

I installed the prg. with the disc .It went where it wanted. No error message. Disc removed.

Why is there no help for technical problems that I can use when working, rather than posting the problem in the hopes that someone will read it and know the answer. The latter is of little value if I am in the middle of doing the taxes.

Particularly if I have to leave the prg, and lose all my work, in order to post the problem.
