Here's how to enter your 1095-A in TurboTax Self-employed:

  1. Open (continue) your return if you don't already have it open.

  2. Select the Deductions & Credits Tab

  3. Scroll down to the line Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A)

  4. Select the box (Start/add/edit)

  5. Follow the screen prompts to enter your Form 1095-

To enter your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button

Or enter 1095-a in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1095-a

I am using the self-employed version of Turbo Tax. The recommendation does not work in this version.
