My wife and I have been filing individually for several years but this yr chose to file together. We got rejected due to AGI, it seems as if the program only added my AGI

Do I just add her AGI to this years return?

Since you both filed separate & now are filing joint, you need to enter both of your AGI from your separate returns. Enter the amount under your names.
