You will need to contact that employer to get a copy. Some employer's can get you online access, some will need to be mailed. Contact Human Resources at your former employer and they can get you a copy - you can't e-file without the W-2.

are you sure you were paid as an employee - at least fica and medicare taxes were taken out of your pay. if not perhaps the employer was treating you as an independent contractor.
