You need to contact your employer or former employer to get a copy of your W-2.   If you attempt to file with a substitute W-2, you will not be able to electronically file and your return will likely be delayed longer than necessary.     @Im missing my w2

You can get copies from the SSA, however, they are $90, so try contacting the employer before resorting to that method.
