No.  It would only go on the child's return if they have other income to report.  If that is the only thing they got the do not have to file and nobody reports it.

No.   Do not enter the SS income that is coming for your child on your tax return.   If your child is still receiving SS at a time later when he has other income like from an after school job etc. then it will be entered on your child's own tax return.  Otherwise do not enter it anywhere.
