I was informed that I will be resident alien in July 2020 and I need to pay taxes like resident alien starting January 2020. Can I use turbo tax?

Will there be any more requirement for filing tax return under resident alien status other than I paid taxes like resident alien? like how many days I need to be in the states?

@shirleynobody , while there are really no new requirements for filing as a resident alien for tax purposes,  there are items  that one needs to make sure  before filing as a resident.  So let me ask you a few questions first:

Which country are you from; what visa are you on; when did you enter the  USA and with what visa;  how many days did you spend in the USA f ( for any purpose/ any visa ) during 2018,2019 and 2020;  are you married  ( and if so to a US citizen/Resident or a Non-Resident Alien);   etc. etc.
