I purchased 2 Turbo Tax

What a hassle.  I have been using Turbo Tax for years and I am not enjoying this years experience.  I installed basic (for my father) and got it started but have to wait for a 1099R.  So I want to start my Deluxe edition and it says I have to uninstall the other one.  I really want to get this done today.

I don't believe you needed two versions. A single version allows up to 5 tax files to be submitted electronically. You could install the deluxe version and do yours and your father's tax filing with this install. Basic version is not needed.
