I paid twice for filing each Federal and State returns. How do I get reimbursed? First payment receipt is for $104.98 on April 13; $109.18

program prompted me to pay again so I assumed I had not paid. However, I already paid the full amount in April .  How will turbotax refund me?

Did you file from a different account than you paid for back in April?  Or maybe you bought the Desktop program then used the Online version?

on 12/28/19 I bought intuit turbotax at Sams club for $43.37.  On 2/29/20 we started using the program and it never asked us for the code ([product key removed]) and then at the end the program asked me to pay by credit card.  Order number is [removed] which I paid $42.79 on 2/29/20 with Visa card ending in[removed].  I have the Sams club receipt. So I paid twice

@70426   Sounds like you ended up using the Online version instead of the Desktop CD/Download program installed on your computer.  Did you install the program at all?  Did you maybe try to go online to download the program instead of installing the CD?  There is a link at the bottom of the download page that takes you to the Online version.  You should not click on that.

You can ask for a refund for the Desktop program you didn't use.  If you had asked before you paid for online we could tell you how to switch back to the Desktop program you bought.
