I need to remove the 1099-INT form from my income and wages section. I got one last year but not this year but it is still retrieving it from when I filed last year.
Under the Federal menu on the left, choose Wages & Income. Under Interest and Dividends, choose Start/Revisit next to Interest on 1099-INT. If the next screen asks if you have any interest to report, answer NO. If there is 1099-INT information listed on this screen, simply click the trash can icon on the right to delete.
You may also elect to delete the form. Follow these steps:
- From the menu on the left, choose Tax Tools
- Click on Tools
- Select Delete a Form
- Scroll through the forms and click Delete next to any 1099-INT
