I’m at the question about health care coverage and it’s asking to enter form 1095-A but I have 1095-B. Do I enter that?

No, you do not file Form 1095-B with your tax return. If the program is asking for a Form 1095-A then you may have indicated that you purchase insurance through the marketplace. Please follow the directions below to return to the healthcare section of your return and indicate that you did not have health insurance through the marketplace.

  1. Log in and open your return.
  2. Type Health Insurance into the search field.
  3. Click the Jump To link in the search results.
  4. On the next screen, answer No to "Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan?".
