I have completed Fed and State and have been approved But I still need to sign to complete it.I have already paid.What is going on?

Did you efile and it was Accepted?  Then you are done.  You only need to physically sign if you print and mail it. When you efile you enter your 2019 AGI to verify you.

You need your 2019 AGI to efile 2020. The AGI is on 2019 1040 line 8b. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse.

If you didn't file 2019 or filed it later in the year then try entering 0 for the AGI. If that doesn't work you will have to print and mail your return.

To efile you keep going though the FILE tab, through the 3 steps all the way to the very end and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button.

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.
