only the IRS can tell you why. their general phne line is closed so your only option today is to try to contact your tax advoate. click on your state in the map to get the phone number.

I filed for taxes on Feb 8th and I still haven’t received my tax refund. I am claiming a dependent for the first time but does it take 3 months to process this?
