I attended Porter and Chester starting January 2019. I was told I should be getting some type of finances back so I was wondering how do I add it into my taxes or what do I have to do?

First off--what is Porter and Chester for those of us who have never heard of it?  Is it a school?  Did they send you a 1098T?

"I was told I should be getting some type of finances back"   Told that by whom?

Please explain in more detail so we do not have to guess.

Are you a dependent on anyone else's tax return?  If so, then you cannot get education credits but the person who is claiming you as a dependent can get the education credit on their return.
